Everything Changes

The more messed up this world gets, the more God makes sense.

THIS & THAT

But then there is THAT.

There is THIS, and there is THAT.

THAT. In my head.

It's the opposite of THIS.

THIS is Godly. THIS is anointed.

THAT is not.

And sometimes THAT overwhelms me.
I do not understand THAT. I do THAT and hate it. When I want to do THIS, THAT is there with me.

Romans 7:15, 21

THAT tries to tempt me. Make me stumble and change direction.

But THIS comes and rescues me when I do.

Thank God.

11:49 PM

THIS THAT and the OTHER THING

Ah yes :-) the OTHER thing ... is very sweet ...

Life in the Spirit,

"So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus. For the power of the life-giving Spirit has freed you through Christ Jesus from the power of sin that leads to death....
.... But the Holy Spirit prays for us .....And the Father who knows all hearts knows what the Spirit is saying, for the Spirit pleads for us believers in harmony with God's own will. And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. For God knew his people in advance, and he chose them to become like his Son...
Who dares accuse us whom God has chosen for his own? Will God? No!
.... Who then will condemn us? Will Christ Jesus? No!.... Can anything ever separate us from Christ's love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or are hungry or cold or in danger or threatened with death? ... No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.

And I am convinced that NOTHING can ever separate us from his love."

Romans 8

12:49 PM

Thank you Paul and Wendy - hit me where it needed to today

1:19 PM

That passage has never made as much profound, bittersweet sense as now... Thanks.

5:26 PM

I wasn't there, no... I just joined up with the choir in May and they haven't been through Canada since late winter/early spring.

Who knows in the future though where we'll end up, I certainly didn't plan on being in Scotland this summer...

Thanks..
