Everything Changes

The more messed up this world gets, the more God makes sense.

Do you not perceive it?

"...if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new." [2 Corinthians 5:17]

There is something about spring, and the sense it brings - new beginnings; fresh starts; longer days; new life.

"See, the former things have taken place, and new things I declare; before they spring into being I announce them to you." [Isaiah 42:9]
"Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." [Jeremiah 29:11]
"Watch - and be utterly amazed. For I am going to do something in your days that you would not believe, even if you were told." [Habakkuk 1:5]

"See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up...

...do you not perceive it?" [Isaiah 43:19]

I like your new profile pic - it's cool!

It must be nice celebrating Easter in spring. Very symbolic. Here it is autumn heading rapidly into winter.

I was actually born in the northern hemisphere (UK) and my birthday is in April. For the first six years of my life I celebrated my birthday in spring but now it is in autumn. Not that it is a big deal, just curious.

Yeah, it seems very significant, actually. A few years ago I celebrated Easter below the Equator [ in Brazil ], but it was still very warm there, so I didn't think too much about it being autumn.

Here in Canada we look forward to things warming up and blooming, and celebrating Christ's resurrection seems to reflect that for us.
