Everything Changes

The more messed up this world gets, the more God makes sense.

March MADness

Last Sunday our pastor spoke about praising God in, what I like to call, the MAD times. He used one of my favorite stories from Acts 16 - Paul & Silas in jail; praising God about midnight in the midst of their MADdening circumstances. Yeah. That one.

Today has been a MAD day. Bought a new [used] car last week. Found out that the dealer withheld some very important information about a prior accident. Things need to be fixed and the dealer isn't taking ownership. In my MADness I hung up on the dealer today.

*"I will praise the Lord at all times. I will constantly speak his praises."

[*Interesting that David wrote that when he was pretending to be insanely MAD before Abimelech.]

"Give thanks in all circumstances!"

Why did my pastor have to go and remind us that on good days and MAD days = God is good.

Why? Because God... IS good.
