Picture Perfect

It is hard to believe that my pics have been downloaded 7760 times from my SXC account. Am I bragging? Darn straight! This is cool!

It was about a year ago that Johnnie encouraged me to post my pics on the popular stock photos site. I have always wanted to share my pics with the world, and although these pics are fairly generic, (which is why they are considered "stock"), I am having a blast!

Sam bought a Nikon D70s yesterday and Brandon is getting a Canon A530. Not to mention the S3 that Fred picked up recently!

I think I need to start a club! (Wanna join?)

Hey Paul!

I'll join the club! ;) I've got my first 4 pics pending on SXC now. (Ungh -- how long does it take to get an answer?? Does this mean I'm becoming an sxcoholic?)

BTW, Sam's camera is saweeeet -- saw it tonite...

4:20 AM

How does the SXC web site work? Is it free to download the photos and free to upload? What about the copyright on the photos?

I'm not a photographer myself but I have a friend who is.

8:39 AM

Yes.. You should start a club! I'm pretty sure I could keep you going with ideas for pics (Just ask Fred, he has a list haha) I have a pitiful camera, but I am good at setting up dominoes!! GO PAUL!

10:32 AM

I have a pretty camera that I found at Walmart. You should see it! It's covered with bright, vibrant cardboard, and the cool thing is... that when the film is gone, you can throw it away... earth to earth... dust to dust.

I'm just jealous

Susan: SXC offers free accounts and you can upload your pictures for review. Once they are approved your pics appear online. During the uploading process you can decide what type of copyright permission you want to offer. Most people ask to be notified if their pic is going to be used; others ask that they are given a photo credit.

I keep telling ya what to do with those pics, Paul! Heck, I told Fred too!
